Thai Government

Level: Postgraduate ,  Ph.D.
Value Detail: The Thai Government offers Thai students the opportunity to apply for a Thai Government Scholarship. The Scholarships are normally available for students in their last year of their bachelor degree or who are currently studying a masters or a PhD. The closing date for the applications is normally 31 July each year.

University of Sydney International Scholarship (USydIS)

Level: Postgraduate ( Research ) ,  Ph.D.
Value Detail: The objective of the USydIS is to attract top quality international postgraduate students to undertake research projects which will enhance the University's research activities. The USydIS is open to all research disciplines; however participation in the USydIS program Research Period 2 and Research Period 3 are at the discretion of the Dean of each faculty. These Scholarships will be awarded in conjunction with the International RTP Fee Scholarship (formerly IPRS) for commencement in Research Period 2 (March), and in early April for commencement in Research Period 3 (July). The USydIS will cover tuition fees and living allowance for up to three years with a possibility of one semester's extension for PhD students. 

Vice-Chancellor International Scholarships Scheme

Level: Undergraduate ,  Postgraduate ( Coursework )
Value Detail: The Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships are awarded to exceptional international students based on academic merit.  The Scholarship is open to all commencing international students enrolling in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree and all applicants are automatically considered. 

Value and Duration: Four scholarship amounts may be offered

  1. $40,000 payable for one year in two equal instalments
  2. $20,000 payable for one year in two equal instalments
  3. $10,000 payable for one semester
  4. $5,000 payable for one semester
