Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS)

Value Detail: The Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS) provides commencing international students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of their course (provided satisfactory grades are maintained).

Bachelor of Laws Scholarships

Level: Undergraduate
Value Detail:

This scholarship is available to eligible international students who are from Singapore, Malaysia or South Asia (includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka).

Please note that if a student has already been offered a Tasmanian International 25% Scholarship, the Bachelor of Laws Scholarship will not apply.

Value: 14% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Bachelor of Legal Studies Scholarship

Level: Undergraduate
Value Detail:

This new scholarship is available to eligible international students who are from the Asian region (includes all countries in South-East Asia, North Asia, South Asia, West Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and Russia, and who are commencing the Bachelor of Legal Studies at the University of Tasmania in semester 1 or 2, 2018.

Students transferring from the Bachelor of Laws to the Bachelor of Legal Studies and who are from the eligible regions listed above, will be eligible to receive the 14% Bachelor of Legal Studies Scholarship.

Dean of Law's Merit Scholarship

Value Detail:

This prestigious scholarship is generously funded by the College of  Arts, Law and Education to encourage high performing international students from India, Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka to study Law at the University of Tasmania, commencing in Winter Semester (June) 2018, and Semester 1, 2019.

12 scholarships are available for the Winter Semester (June) 2018, and for Semester 1, 2019 consisting of:  Four (4) scholarships covering 100% registered tuition fees, and eight (8) scholarships covering 50% registered tuition fees.
